Our  products are created using principles of the art of quilling.

Quilling is essentially an art form that involves the use of paper strips that are  rolled, shaped, and glued together to produce decorative designs.

In less than a year Handmade Gift Ideas has placed nearly  1000 quilled cards, tags, notepads, photo frames and jewelry boxes in the hands of  people who have found new appreciation for this artform.

Annual Haircut Day Illustrated Book Online

Another book that you can read online is this funny story about one man’s desperation to get a haircut.

The book was so successful that the author was inspired to write another story based on the central character. The production work has been completed and the book will be out next year. We’ll update you as soon as that happens. Meantime , enjoy this one:

Logo Evolution

One of the most challenging logos that The Other Design Studio has done is that of SMMC, a leading retailer of food processing machines, in a rebranding exercise.

As evident from the numerous logos above, the thought process changed many times from the first draft based on the client’s original logo to the final one that was selected but the aim remained the same – to bring out a logo that represented the company’s core business best.
